Action Sudbury is proud to announce Kathrine Grant (left), President of Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving (OCCID), presented Rolande Mousseau (right) with the Peter Wong Award. The presentation was conducted during the OCCID meeting at the Inn on the Park, Toronto!

 The Peter Wong awarded is presented to the volunteer, “whose dedication and motivation inspires others to join together to stop impaired driving.”

 Action Sudbury was founded by the late Peter Wong. Peter was the Founding President of Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving (OCCID), and founded Action Sudbury in 1984. His leadership of Action Sudbury, combined with his many political successes led him to become involved with the initiation of Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving (OCCID).

 Rollande (Rolly) Mousseau, helped Peter since 1984 In forming Action Sudbury and then onto forming the Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving (OCCID), were Rollande sat as a member of the executive for a number of years. Action Sudbury Chairman Ron Roy stated, “Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving was wise to present the Peter Wong award to Rollande, she has been an inspiration to volunteers and is still a very active member of Action Sudbury!” Rollande is the second recipient of the Annual Peter Wong Award, Ann Leonard received the award last year.
